Paraezo Couture, designer wedding gowns, was established in Toronto, Ontario in 2009 by lead designer Bruce Dang, with the first bridal collection launching in 2010, Paraezo Bridal designers combine European style and high fashion runway couture to create pure and original wedding gowns for the modern bride. The brand uses only the highest quality materials and never shies away from elaborate detailing so that every gown evokes feelings of elegance and beauty. In 2012 Paraezo Bridal launched the Paraezo Couture and Wish by Paraezo collections. Paraezo Couture amps up the haute couture design elements creating wearable pieces of art.
Dang’s interest in bridal fashion was sparked while working as creative director for a local wedding boutique. From there, Dang has created seven bridal collections under Paraezo Couture. For the Spring/Summer 2013 collection (entitled “Essence”) at World MasterCard Fashion Week, Dang took inspiration from natural elements, the simple beauty of flowers and foliage, to design wedding gowns with sensational curves, thoughtful embellishments and sharp contours, transforming the pieces into wearable art. He continues to pursue his dream of becoming a world-renowned bridal designer, and to grow Paraezo Couture to become among the most desirable brands in bridal fashion.
“In designing this collection, I found myself inspired by the novel The Secret Garden,” said Dang. “The themes of growth and rejuvenation illustrated in this classic tale captured my attention. Since weddings celebrate joy and new beginnings, I wanted my designs to reflect the optimism inherent in a budding flower. My hope is that brides who chose Paraezo Couture will feel like they have stepped out of a modern-day fairytale, thanks to a combination of European and haute couture influences and indulgently feminine details. The Paraezo woman is one who appreciates sharp cuts and style, but still believes in romance and happily ever after.”~ Bruce Dang
Paraezo was inspired by the Spanish word paraiso, which means paradise, mountains and the garden of eve. The brand defines Paraezo as a place of complete bliss, peace and harmony.
As I sat awaiting the show at WMCFW, I was mesmerized and intrigued by the studio runway decor (especially the wall which was draped with orchids). The gowns were beautiful and dreamy, I honestly had so many favourites. I had the opportunity to meet Bruce backstage and express my love for his designs. With such pure beauty gliding the runway, I jumped at the chance to feature Paraezo Couture on Beauty Buzz 411. If you’re a bride-to-be, this is a designer you must check out. See how the “Secret Garden” inspired this collection and how his pieces are true works of wearable art.
BB411~ When did you know you wanted to be a designer?
BD~ It was my sisters 16th birthday and with my mom I had designed a gown for my sister. The moment she had tried on the gown and seeing how happy my sister was, made me realize that this is the feeling I want all of my brides to feel. Then I knew that this was something that made me happy.

BB411~ What was the inspiration behind the Beauty Looks during the show (make up & hair)?
BD~ For the makeup I thought bridal needs to be soft, light and whimsical hence my inspiration for my s/s 2013 collection is “the secret garden”. For the hair I wanted to throw in real flowers to show the pureness of each bride, a different trend rather than a tiara and veil.
BB411~ What is your favourite season to design a collection for?
BD~ I would say Spring and Summer collection, because I love using natural elements.
BB411~ What do you look for when creating each collection?
BD ~ I try to stay with the trend and maybe set a few trends whenever possible, but the main idea behind my collection is how I would see my perfect bride go down the aisle.

BD~ Everyone is beautiful in their own way and naturally they are a beauty.
BB411~ What inspires you personally and professionally?

BD~ I would love to be a part of Make a Wish Foundation & The Breast Cancer Society.
BB411~ What does it mean to you to give back?
BD~ To me I feel that Fashion is a part of life and I am designing to make people happy when wearing my designs. So designing quality and fashion forward dresses is giving back.
